ER410 or Alloy 410 is an air-hardening heat-treatable martensitic stainless steel electrode designed to weld stainless steels of similar chemical composition. Common base metals include Type 403, 405, 410, 414, and 416, 420, 431, and cast C-15. It may be used to overlay carbon steels to imbue corrosion, erosion, and abrasion resistance.
